Zesh Rehman is a pioneer in British football as the first British Asian player to play in the top flight when making his debut for Fulham in 2004.

He was known as a calm and dominant centre-back for clubs including Brighton and Hove Albion, Norwich, QPR and Bradford alongside proudly representing Pakistan internationally.

Zesh then moved to Asia to continue his playing career in Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong before moving into coaching at Southern in Hong Kong.

Now back in the UK, he has continued to attain coaching qualifications whilst working as an Academy Manager at Portsmouth FC whilst being profiled as part of the PL Stories series to tell his unique story.

Zesh is currently First Team Development Coach at Portsmouth FC and recently featured as a pundit on Premier League Production’s ‘Team Talks’.
