Refresh Sports is proud to represent Adam Monk, a dynamic sports presenter and broadcaster with a unique journey into the industry and a portfolio spanning some of football’s biggest platforms.
Adam’s path into sports media was anything but conventional. After leaving university just five weeks in, he was picked up at just 19 by JOE for his content creation skills, producing satirical football and political videos that quickly amassed millions of views.
His journey in sports presenting began at age 20 when he joined Manchester City, where he ran social channels, hosted live Instagram coverage from major fixtures, and interviewed first-team players and manager Pep Guardiola at iconic venues including Old Trafford, Wembley and the Santiago Bernabéu.
Since then, Adam has gone on to host Total Sport, the flagship sports show for BBC Radio Manchester, and has become a familiar face across multiple major platforms. His work includes presenting for FourFourTwo’s YouTube channel, where he has interviewed top players and hosted live events, including their 30-year anniversary show at Classic Football Shirts.
Adam is also a key presenter for DAZN, fronting his own show Football’s Hottest Takes, as well as working as an anchor and reporter on their National League coverage. His interview portfolio includes names such as Antoine Griezmann, Memphis Depay and Xavi Simons, alongside work with global brands including PUMA, EA Sports and Premier League Productions.
His experience extends into long-form storytelling, having produced a feature-length documentary in Sweden for Sleeper, where he also interviewed Sir Geoff Hurst.
With a background in online comedy, Adam blends sharp football insight with a natural sense of humour, creating content that is both entertaining and engaging. Professional and personable, he is an expert in football with additional interests in darts, boxing and the intersection of sport and popular culture.
Now 26, with experience across live broadcasting, radio, social-first content, YouTube, interviews, live events and documentary-making, Adam is driven to continue learning and raising the bar with the same ambition and passion that launched his career.
